The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע Gala Day is the P&Fs major fundraising event and is a fun day for all ages commencing at 9.00am and concluding after the 1st Rugby game which commences at 3.15pm. There are many activities planned for the day and also many ways to become involved. Please note: Oakhill students are to attend in full winter uniform.

Major Raffle

Gala Day raffle tickets are now on sale with an incredible First Prize being a 2024 Mazda CX-3 Sport. This car comes complete with premium plates, 5 years manufacturer warranty, stamp duty, CTP and registration, could be yours for just $10 per ticket. Basket Stall
One of our most popular stalls is the basket stall which has an impressive reputation at Gala Day due to the large range of baskets available including beauty products, gourmet food, chocolates,all things baking, cleaning products and much more. This is due to the support of аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע families in generously donating all the items needed to put these baskets together. To ensure we have an even spread of items, please find the list below of items. We ask College families to bring to your Tutor Teachers or House Deans:

There are many rides, arcades games and a carnival alley on Gala Day. There are individual and family discounts for pre-purchased wristbands via Trybooking:

Volunteering

Gala Day 2024 preparations have begun, and we need your help. Many hands make light work and with a huge array of jobs on offer, we are sure you'll find something to suit you. There will be several opportunities to assist for the day: gift basket wrapping, book sorting, set up and pack down, stall volunteer, cake donations, and more. This day has always been successful because of the generosity of our school community. Being part of Gala Day is also a great way to meet new parents of the College and make friends, all whilst having fun. You can sign up here:

Book Stall
Its time to clean out your cupboards and bookshelves to see what pre-loved books you can donate to the Gala Day book stall. Although we appreciate your donations of pre-loved books, please keep in mind that it costs us money to dispose of unsuitable donations. Please be sure to ONLY donate what is on the list below:

Donations can be made to Benildus Hall on Monday 6th, Friday 10th, Wednesday 15th and Friday 17th May.

Cake Stall Donations 
Calling all our home bakers and sweets connoisseurs! We are kindly requesting donations of baked treats and all things yummy for our cake stall. Examples of donations are cookies, cupcakes, chocolate crackles, slices, muffins and of course, cakes! We welcome not just homemade goodies, but store-bought items as well. 

Please note that we cannot accept donations with fresh cream. Pre-packaged donations will be most appreciated but not mandatory. It would also be appreciated if you can list the ingredients on your donation.  

Donations will be accepted from Friday 24th May and from 8.00am at the cake stall located at the CSC Foyer and on Saturday 25th May from 7.00am.

Your continued support of our exciting Gala Day is appreciated. Funds raised will support the acquisition of AV equipment for the new Commons and Atrium buildings, with 10% of all profits allocated to The Breakfast Club at La Salle Technical College Hohola in Papua New Guinea.
